Man Climbs On A Plane’s Wing Just Before Departure. The airplane was about to go to the south eastern Rivers State Capital, Port Harcourt when the event happened.

A video recording of a man trying to fly on the wing of a local Nigerian airplane, Air Azman, made rounds on the internet. The passengers of the airplane panicked as they saw the man on top of the airplane’s wing. The airplane was about to go to the south eastern Rivers State Capital, Port Harcourt when the event happened. The passengers panicked when they saw the man onto the wing and tried to creep into the plane’s engine. The man also allegedly tried to get into the airplane’s cabin.

One passenger took the video recording of the incident and shared on Instagram. The passenger have been on the runway for 30 minutes after they saw the guy. The passenger says, “Guys this is an emergency…For 30 minutes we have been stuck at the runway at MMIA by an unidentified man who ran to the aircraft with a bag. Security has not showed up and everyone is panicking.” The authorities ended up coming and took the man in. “…He has finally been apprehended and we’ve all disembarked from the flight. FAAN (Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria) authorities showed up 23 minutes into the scene but were scared to approach him. Security eventually shows up after 37 mins,” says the passenger.

The man was spotted approaching the airplane from the bushes. The pilot saw the man too and then stopped the airplane. The passenger went on explaining the event the occurred. “So our flight was taxing on the runway and about to taking off when this man shows up running towards the moving aircraft from the bush. The pilot and a few passengers spotted him running towards the aircraft and the pilot immediately slowed down and quickly [turned] off the engine.” The man dropped a mysterious bag into the airplane’s engine. “The guy approaches the plane with gloves and starts walking around and under the aircraft holding a bag which he dropped inside the engine,” says the passenger.
